Riyadh City Police arrested a Saudi woman and three foreigners accused of illegally hiring domestic workers.
Deputy Police Spokesman Major Khaled Al-Kreidis reported that police arrested a Saudi, Sri Lankan, Indian, and Pakistani woman, all between the ages of 30 and 40, who were poaching domestic workers to place them with others. The defendants housed the workers in two residences east and west of the city and received commissions for each worker placed with an employer in addition to her kafil. Police located eight workers of different nationalities who were reported absent by their employers.
The police initiated all necessary procedures for the prosecution to summon the accused.
