Workers, civil servants and contract workers at the Musayib power plant organized an open sit-in in front of the plant to protest the freezing of their wages for the past nine months.
The protesters declared that their movement will continue until their wages are unblocked.
It is worthy to note that the workers have already organized protests to demand the tenure of contract workers and to call on the government to intervene in order to unblock their wages and resolve their employment situation.
