The joint meeting of the Union of Trade Unions of Hadramaout, Chabwa and Mahra governorates was held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the headquarters of the General Federation of Yemeni Trade Unions in the presence of the president of the Federation, Ali Ahmed Belkhadr. Participants discussed the economic crisis in the country and its impact on the lives of workers, civil servants and the whole society.
The participants also welcomed the formation of a new government wishing that the new team will succeed in ending the crisis in Yemen for a better future. At the end of the meeting, the participants issued a joint communiqué gathering all the demands, giving the new government 15 days before it takes the necessary measures to respond to the trade union demands.
