With the support of the Council of Europe and the European Union, the National Authority against Trafficking in Persons (INLTP) has launched 'The list of general indicators relating to the detection of victims of trafficking in persons in Tunisia'.
On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, December 10, 2020, the INLTP revealed that 1,313 victims of human trafficking were detected in 2019. The Forum stressed that this figure does not reflect the true extent of the phenomenon in the country.
The INLTP said that 'The list of general indicators relating to the detection of victims of trafficking in persons in Tunisia' has been developed by national and international experts in the fight against crimes of trafficking in persons and stated that the document will be available to the general public soon.
