In a speech delivered on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the Secretary General of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions and member of the Administrative Council of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Chahar Saad, considered that employers' violations of workers' rights are the most serious violation of human rights.
According to Chahar Saad, violations of workers' rights aggravate the injustice of men against men and increase tyranny and greed. Practices that have increased during the pandemic where many employers have ignored their legal and moral responsibilities towards the workers they have abandoned by firing them and closing down companies.
