Bahrain: announcement of the results of the national unemployment registration programme

The Committee for the Suppression of Entitlements and Recovery of Stolen Money in Sudan announced the dismissal of 374 employees of state institutions who were illegally assigned there under the regime of deposed President Omar al-Bashir (1989-2019).

During a press conference organised by the Committee, Mohamed Fakki Slimane, a member of the Council of State, said that 30 ambassadors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 209 advisers at the Ministry of Justice were dismissed for having been appointed to these positions without meeting the legal criteria of national civil service.

For his part, Committee member Salah Manaâ added that 11 workers of the Investment Promotion Commission in Khartoum, 24 employees of the Sudan Free Zones and Markets Corporation, 60 of the National Television, 5 of the National Television Broadcasting Authority, 19 of the National Radio and 16 of the National Investment Authority were dismissed.

It should be recalled that on 10 December this year, the President of the Council of State decided to form the Committee for the abolition of credentials and the recovery of the money stolen by the deposed president.
