The Technical Committee on Labour in Agriculture organized a meeting with representatives of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Jordan and the International Labour Organization (ILO) to develop a joint vision for developing decent work in the agricultural sector.
Participants recommended that a national dialogue be organized with all partners in the sector. This dialogue will take place at the end of the Committee's negotiations. They also called for the identification of future measures to be put in place in favour of the sector.
It should be recalled that this meeting is part of the negotiations conducted by the Technical Committee on Labour in Agriculture. Negotiations under the ILO-supported project "Strategic partnership to improve prospects through employment and education opportunities for refugees and host communities in Jordan".
