Libya: training sessions for health care providers in migrant reception centres

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has organized training sessions on infection prevention and control and Covid-19 case management for health care providers in migrant reception centres.

25 people, working in reception centres in Tripoli, Zawiya, Zuwara and Dhahir Al-Jubail, benefited from these trainings. Members of the Tripoli emergency teams were also trained.

In this context, IOM indicated that these trainings are part of the fight against the spread of infectious diseases in migrant reception centres that are at greater risk of contamination because of the conditions in which they live.
