The National Union of Urban agencies of Morocco, which is under the General workers' Union, issued a strong statement in which it listed the serious abuses identified by the Skhirat Temara Urban Agency.
As mentioned in the statement, this urban agency has failed to respect the legal and administrative legitimacy, conspired against the employees, manipulated their promotion, and tried to amend the main law by the director's decisions, fighting the union freedom and refusing the social dialog.
"Once again, the administration is misusing administrative rules and not respecting administrative hierarchy only to protect the officials from being questioned " the union said in its statement. The urban agency’s role to study the files and express opinions is misused, and the highest-level missions are of no actual use. Officials having these missions have rather the immunity of the Director."
In the same context, the executive office of the National Union of Urban agencies in Morocco has called on the Minister for National soil preparation, Reconstruction, Housing and City Policy, Nuszha Bouchareb, to convene an urgent meeting on the serious abuses identified by the Urban Skhirat-Temara Agency.
