Coinciding with the International Day for Equal Pay, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced its formal ratification of two International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions regarding the protection of wages and health rules in commerce and offices.
Last Friday, the Official Gazette in Saudi Arabia published Decree No. 7 of the Prime Minister, which includes approval of ILO’s Convention No. 95 for the year 1949 in the matter of protection of wages.
The second article of the decision stipulated the approval of ILO’s Convention No. 120 of the year 1964 in the matter of health rules in commerce and offices.
