In a statement published on 3 November 2020, the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) announced the holding of a negotiating session at the headquarters of the Ministry of Local Affairs and Environment with a view to cancelling the strike of municipal agents scheduled for November 4 and 5.
Last Wednesday, several Tunisian media reported that an agreement has been reached to postpone the strike to December 2 and 3, provided that the decrees agreed upon by the government and the trade union parties are published in the Official Day before the 25 November.
