The Union of doctors, Dentists, University pharmacists of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGF) announced that it had signed an agreement on Oct. 6, by the Minister of Public Health, the Minister of higher Education, the Scientific Research and the Minister of the Prime Minister in charge of the public function and the State Writer of the Minister of Economy and Finance. The agreement addressed the following points:
✓ The joint tripartite committee working on the formulation of the dual supervision project between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of higher Education, Scientific Research, Doctors, Dentists and University Pharmacists, will continue its work, with the aim of ending its output within five months.
✓Approving to initiate teaching scholarships
✓ Promotion of the Research and Legalization Scholarship for Doctors, Dentists and University Pharmacists.
✓ The implementation of the university return grant for doctors, dentists and university pharmacists.
✓ Publication of decrees relating to the approval of dentists and university-hospitalo pharmacists with university-hospitalo physicians.
✓ Finishing payments from national examination committees and competitions.
As a result of this agreement, the Union has decided to resume academic activity for dentists and hospitalo-university pharmacists who will participate in the national examinations as of October 7, 2020.
