The Regional Union of the National Autonomous Union of Public Administration Personnel organized a protest march of agents of the municipalities of the Bejaia who claim to be paid after three months spent without pay. In a statement, the Union explained that it was forced to opt for the protest after having exhausted all the means of negotiations with the local authorities to find a solution to the agents of the 27 municipality of the wilaya.
The National Autonomous Union of Public Administration Personnel called on local authorities to release the salaries of the agents as soon as possible and threatened to escalate the protests.
