The Minister of Labour and Minister of State for Investment Affairs of the Jordanian Interim Government has authorized the issuance of work permits to foreign workers registered on the protection platform who have not left Jordanian territory.
The minister’s decision excluded foreign workers registered on the platform who made their transactions to withdraw and receive their contributions from the Social Security Corporation and who got a final departure.
The Minister noted that the decision was made at the request of employers seeking to restart operations as the pandemic continues to affect them and workers.
