The representatives of the Moroccan trade unionists withdrew from the meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) in protest against the government’s failure to comply with the Council’s decisions.
The trade unions have ensured that the Government is voluntarily blocking the Council’s decisions on the revaluation of retirement pensions, the increase in the reimbursement rate for compulsory health insurance and the delegated management of the CNSS polyclinics.
According to a joint press release, the unions withdrew after the government, specifically the Department of Finance, have refused to change their attitude towards the CNSS’s board of directors by continuing to ignore its important decisions, which nevertheless serve the interests of Moroccan workers and employers by creating financial balances and efficient social services.
