Jordan’s health minister announced on Wednesday that 600 Bengali workers have contracted the coronavirus at a ready-to-wear clothes factory in the Dhlail industrial zone.
In this context, the Governor of Zarka assured that the workers were self-isolated in housing that is exclusively dedicated to them.
Jordan recorded 1,776 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, including 1,765 local cases. For the first time since the revival of economic activities, the Minister of Health indicated that general sanitary lockdown could be ordered at any time.
