The Campaign Committee of the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions held a working meeting for its staff with the participation of Deputy Secretary General Racem Bayari, member of the General Secretariat of the Federation Khaled Abdelhedi, and a representative of the Workers' Solidarity Centre.
Participants discussed the issue of minimum wage systems and the measures needed to enforce them in as many sectors as possible. At the end of the meeting, an overall programme was approved including, inter alia, the accreditation of trainers who will train Federation executives who will, in turn, participate in the campaign to promote minimum wage systems. These intensive training sessions will take place over six days.
