The Transportation Workers Union organized a workshop on building skills for organizing campaigns, lobbying and leadership choice strategies. This workshop was organized in cooperation with the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions Transport Sector Strengthening Project, implemented under the auspices of the ITF.
In this context, the Secretary of Women’s Affairs at the Trade Union explained that the main aim of this workshop is to develop the skills of trade union workers in organizing support campaigns aimed at improving the technical performance of workers in the sector.
The union leader indicated that this workshop will cover several areas such as the organization and planning of elections, policy development and voter approach, gathering and use of resources and methods of communication.
