In a statement issued on Friday, the Crisis Cell in the National Federation of Workers’ and Employees’ Unions of Lebanon otherwise referred to FENASOL, called for the expedition of the search process for the missing victims of the Beirut port blast.
FENASOL lead an internal initiative to support the national effort to overcome the deadly blast, and an international initiative donation campaign to overcome its repercussions.
FENASOL expressed its thankfulness and praise to the Arab and international trade union bodies that sent messages of condolences and solidarity with the National Union, its unions, its workers, and the Lebanese people.
FENASOL also thanked all the members who contribute to the help and volunteer operations with health authorities and municipalities “calling for more participation in the cleaning and restoration operations to help those that were affected”.
