Secretary-General of the General Federation of Palestinian Workers warned employers and Palestinian workers against accepting any offers to work in the construction of the settlement “Al-Tafwai Hawara” settlement.
Shaher Saad’s warning came in response to the Israeli government’s start to implement its expansion project in Nablus, without paying attention to its forced military confiscation e of the citizens’ lands and properties.
Saad indicated that this occupation plan is part of the Israeli annexation plan, and it will cause great losses to farmers after uprooting thousands of olive trees in the target area, in addition to its acquisition of more lands of villages (Hawara and other threatened villages such as Burin, Hawara, Beita, Awarta, Yatma, and Al-Sawiya , And Yasov), which would destroy their water wells.
Saad concluded his comment on this development by praising the steadfastness and sacrifices of Palestinian workers who rejected Israeli offers to work in such prohibited places.
Saad also warned brokers of these workers not to employ them in suspicious workplaces, taking advantage of them, reminding everyone that “free and honest work cannot be contaminated with any work that would help the occupier uproot us from our homeland and prejudice our land, which is the basis of our steadfastness and existence”, said Saad in the same statement.
