United Nations’ Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia will be organizing two webinars, the first focusing on “structural challenges, gaps, weaknesses and resilience”, and the second will focus on “moving forward to better building in the post-pandemic period”.
The Seminar aims to promote effective governance by enhancing complementarity and cooperation among relevant stakeholders through the “whole government” approach and the “entire community” approach as well as national and local coordination to combat COVID-19.
The seminar series will aim to reach the following:
· Review COVID-19’s standby and response experiences
· Collect possible solutions to provide a collective learning mechanism within and between countries
· Exchange of information through the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs website, ESCWA on the Internet and other available means.
