According to Monte Carlo International Agency, the Kuwaiti security services broke up a demonstration organized by Egyptian migrant workers who are violating residence laws to demand their deportation to Egypt.
The demonstration started inside one of the Kuwaiti shelters. These centers specifically witnessed overcrowding after the Kuwaiti government announced the exemption of foreigners residing in Kuwait who are violating the residence law and ensuring their deportation for free.
Commenting on the incident, Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait said that the evacuation trips of the violators of residency laws will start this week and that the agreement with the Kuwaiti party stipulates that the priority will be for women and children.
It is noteworthy that Kuwait announced the registration of nearly 5.000 cases of COVID-19 and nearly forty deaths.
