Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, said that the total disbursed grant for irregular workers affected by the spread of the new Coronavirus amounted to about 88 million pounds for about 176.000 beneficiaries in the bank’s branches in Cairo and the governorates.
He indicated in special statements to the “Al-Masry Al-Youm” website, that the exchange process is continuing from the branches scheduled until Thursday, and the necessary liquidity for disbursement is being obtained from the Ministry of Finance first hand, but he did not mention whether there was a trend to extend the date of the exchange or not.
The President of the Agricultural Bank explained that the process of disbursing the grant for irregular workers is proceeding with discipline and regularity starting Monday, stressing his keenness and follow-up to facilitate the citizens in all places of exchange and not to crowd as well as preparing waiting places for exchange.
