The company TAV Tunisia suspended the payment of the production grant for the first trimester of 2020 for a later period, and suspended all social privileges until the resumption of the company’s activity in contradiction with the referral record, which provides for enabling the agents who are on duty with the same privileges that the direct aid benefit from in the National Court Civil aviation and airports, whether financial, social, or administrative, as they are agents who are registered in the bureau, are subject to the same regulations and legal texts, especially the statute of the bureau chiefs.
Al-Shaab newspaper reported that the General University of Transport of the Tunisian General Labor Union sent a letter to the Minister of Transport, confirming that this action is inconsistent with the agreement of the company for the employees delegated directly by it, and also informed the minister that the company is accustomed to those practices, through which it seeks to blackmail the Tunisian state and the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports in order to achieve concessions that it has always enjoyed without providing in return a positive return in the country.
The Syndicate expressed its dissatisfaction with the retreat from the acquired rights and the implementation of the agreements, calling on the minister to intervene and put pressure on this institution in order to disburse all social grants and privileges, whether for agents placed on duty or agents of TAV Tunisia company in order to avoid social destabilization and for the dignity of agents.
