The Ministry of Social Affairs revealed the provision of housing for all workers in the compound of social care homes, to ensure that they are not in contact with anyone infected with the COVID-19 outside the care home complex, in order to preserve the safety of employees and residents, as part of precautionary measures to combat the spread of Coronvirus.
The ministry said in a press statement that the precautionary measures taken in the social care sector contributed to maintaining the safety of all residents and protecting them from any sort of disease infection, whether coronavirus or any other.
Concerning these measures, the Ministry indicated that coordination has been made with the Rehabilitation Medical Center and the Preventive Health Office of the Ministry of Health to implement the compulsory medical examination of all people entering the care complex to ensure their safety before entry, and to prevent anyone having a high temperature from entering.
