The National Syndicate of the National Bureau of Airports affiliated with the Democratic Labor Confederation Brigade revealed the financial value of the contribution of air traffic controllers and monitors in the national fund for the management of the Corona pandemic.
According to the statement of the National Syndicate, the cover of the “symbolic” contribution of air traffic controllers and observers to the special fund is estimated by more than 110.000 dirhams, along with the contribution of a number of daily workers working in the sector, as an expression of “the spirit of solidarity and established between all Moroccans”.
The National Office, which confirmed the union’s commitment to quarantine, expressed the air controllers’ readiness, and their permanent engagement with the officials of the sector in order to “make a successful return to the normal status of air navigation”, without prejudice to “health measures to preserve the safety of the employees of the institution.”
On the other hand, the National Bureau denounced, “The arbitrary measures affecting the air traffic controllers at Tangier International Airport”.
The Bureau Pointed out the finger at the airport manager, and at the same time, the decisions he made against airport workers are considered contempt for the health measures that the country has to ensure the safety and health of workers, to reduce the spread of the COVID-19.
