The Executive Office of the General University of the Municipalities of the Tunisian General Union of Labor (UGTT) called on all mayors to ensure the provision of all protection requirements for municipalities’ employees, such as antiseptic liquid, soap, cleaning materials, gloves, and protective masks, especially for the cleaning cleaning personnel and workers in the civil status departments who are in direct relationship with citizens.
The office also stressed in a statement, the necessity of organizing sensitization and training campaigns for the benefit of the agents in the use of prevention methods in order to avoid the risk of infection.
The syndicate’s office called on all workers to take all necessary precautions for their safety, confirming their pivotal role in handling this pandemic crisis and doing the professional duty in the best way possible as well as being responsible.
