Morocco: Solidarity Campaign with AMANOR Workers

The Regional Union of Tangier Trade Unions has announced the launch of a material support campaign for AMANOR workers who were dismissed.

The Regional Union indicated that this step comes in light of the expulsion of the workers from their institution, especially in the current circumstance of the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

It is noteworthy that AMANOR, which is authorized to manage the liquid purification sector in Tangier, had witnessed earlier congestion because the company’s management deducted workers’ salaries, deducted 250 dirhams without a reason and deducted 750 dirhams as compensation for mobility.

Faced by the rejection of these cuts by the workers resulted in the administration expelling the union’s secretary-general and several workers.
