The National Syndicate of Users of Social Welfare Institutions in Morocco, which is under the banner of the General Union of Workers in Morocco, sent a message to the Director of National Cooperation in Rabat, regarding the expedition of the 2019 grant, as well as taking urgent measures to alleviate the repercussions and effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on the workers of these institutions.
The union called on the director of national cooperation to expedite the disbursement of the national cooperation grant for the year 2019 to the regions that have not yet benefitedof it, especially in light of the difficult circumstances experienced by a number of social workers in several regions of the country, due to the application of quarantine measures to prevent the outbreak of the new Coronavirus.
In the same context, the union called on the director of national cooperation to take urgent measures to protect social workers and their families in this difficult period, by accelerating the disbursement of grants for national cooperation, and allocating the necessary financial resources during the planning of the upcoming grant budget to ensure the stability of this category around which all operations revolve regardless of institutions and beneficiary groups.
