In the last issue of the Official Gazette, the executive decree was issued, which included the establishment of an exceptional allowance for the benefit of public structures and institutions workers belonging to the health sector.
The decree stipulated that the exceptional allowance would benefit the conscripts as part of the prevention efforts against the spread of the Coronavirus.
The decree also specified that the bonus will be paid monthly, in the following amounts of money:
10,000 DZD for administrative and support staff
20,000 DZD for paramedical staff.
40,000 DZD for medical staff.
The extraordinary premium is paid for a period of 3 months, renewable, and is not subject to tax or social security contributions.
The benefit of this bonus can be extended to other categories of users under a special provision.
How to implement this decree is to be determined by a specific text.
