Iyad Al-Bazm, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip, announced the payment of government employees’ salaries in the as well as the Qatari grant during these days.
Al-Bazm said during the daily briefing on the spread of Coronavirus that the ministries of Finance and Communications have developed a plan to pay the salaries of government employees in Gaza and the Qatari grant during these days taking all necessary precautions into account.
He pointed out that all banks operating in the Gaza Strip have been contacted to take the necessary precautions during the salary disbursement process, and to perform the necessary sterilization and protection process.
It is also noteworthy that the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, disbursed aid to the wounded and martyrs of the right to return marches for the month of March, through all branches of the Post Bank according to alphabetic order.
