Saudi Arabia: Activities that are Exempt from Curfew Decision

The Saudi Ministry of Interior clarified that the activities that were exempt from curfew regulations are the food sector (sale points) such as catering, commercial spaces, vegetable and poultry shops, meat, bakeries, factories, and food factories, in addition to the health sector, such as pharmacies, medical clinics (dispensaries), hospitals, laboratories, factories, and factories of materials and devices Medical.

The media sector, with its various means, and the transportation sector, such as the transport of goods, parcels, customs clearance, warehouses, warehouses, logistics, and supply chains for the health sector, the food sector, and port operations, were also excluded.

E-commerce activities were also exempt, such as workers in electronic procurement applications, workers in delivery applications, and accommodation services activities such as hotels and furnished apartments, the energy sector such as gas stations and emergency services for the Electricity Company, the financial services and insurance sector, such as accident accidents, urgent health insurance services and other insurance services, and the communications sector as Internet operators Communication networks, and the water sector such as the water company emergency services and home drinking water delivery service.

Navigation will be permitted at the time of the curfew for security, military and health vehicles, government regulatory services cars, and excluded activity vehicles, in addition to allowing the use of delivery through smart device applications (express delivery services) during the curfew, to request food and drug needs and other essential goods and services.

Pray callers will also be allowed access to mosques to fulfil the call to prayer duties at the time of the curfew, and for workers in diplomatic missions and international organizations residing in the diplomatic neighborhood to move during the ban period to and from their business headquarters.
