Many citizens in a number of sectors closed their doors due to the pandemic, especially restaurants, cafes, and the construction sector, in which a good number of Ivorians residing in Tunisia work, according to press reports.
Thousands of sub-Saharan Africans of different nationalities and those studying in Tunisia are tremendously suffering under the general quarantine, the absence of aid, and the loss of jobs which previously helped them in the expenses of living and studying and can no longer make ends meet with the current health emergency.
