The Free Confederation of Mauritanian Workers (CLTM for its French acronym) called on the Mauritanian government to take decisive and urgent measures in favor of workers in the traditional fishing, minerals, land transport, ports and water basins sectors, in addition to the public works and unrated sectors.
CLTM called on the government to take on the necessary urgent measures in favor of workers in these sectors, which are characterized by fragility, low standard of living, absence of social protection and permanent income.
CLTM also asked the International Bureau of Labor (BIT) and the International Federation of Trade Unions (CSI) to take into consideration these data, which they had previously provided, in order to give special attention to Mauritania in the confusing situation caused by the Corona virus.
