Tunisia: Ivorian Migrants Kicked Out of Their Homes for not Being Able to Pay the Rent

John Badan Janabri, president of the Association of Active Ivorians in Tunisia, condemned the expulsion of a number of Africans and Ivorians from their homes by the owners during the quarantine period because they could not pay the rent.

The President of the Ivorian Society stated in a press release that the public quarantine decision made many migrants incapable of work, as most of them are students and work in cafes and restaurants before they shut down due to the spread of Coronavirus. Now, they have become unemployed and do not have any bdaily income.

Janabri, the President of the Association of Ivorians Active in Tunisia, called for the housing of every needy person, addressing in the same context his thanks to the Tunisian people who moved fast to help them.
