Collective Labor Agreement Between the Moroccan Labor Union and the Company “Bombardier”

On March 10 in Casablanca, a collective employment agreement was signed between the Moroccan Labor Union and the Bombardier company, a pioneer in the field of aviation spare parts, after a review the agreement that brought the two sides together since 2016.

The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Labor and Professional Integration Mohamed Amkraz and Stephan Orr Vice President and General Manager of Bombardier, Morocco.

The new agreement, signed by the representatives of the company and the UMT union office, includes mutual obligations, a balance between achieving new procedural gains (improving material and professional conditions), and working to enhance the process of increasing production and productivity.

Miloudi Al-Moukharrak, Secretary General of the Moroccan Labor Union, highlighted that this agreement represents a qualitative leap forward compared to the agreement concluded between the two sides in 2016.

The Secretary-General of the Moroccan Labor Union continued that this agreement is of a special nature, because it concerns one of the most important economic sectors, which made Morocco one of its priorities (new occupations), noting that the available data indicate that since the signing of the 2016 agreement between “Bombardier” and the office Unionist, productivity improved and quality and professional relations improved.

Miloudi Al-Moukharrak noted that the Moroccan Labor Union attaches great importance to collective agreements and said that thanks to the recent efforts of the production parties and the ministry, important results could be achieved, as an important number of collective labor agreements were concluded covering various areas.
