On Wednesday, a pregnant substitute teacher was attacked in front of the Ministry of Education in Tunis by a police officer during a national protest which caused the loss of her fetus, as reported by TAP.
In response to this attack, teachers and representatives of civil society, in a number of governorates, organized solidarity and condemnation groups demanding accountability for the aggressors.
In this context, substitute teachers have organized a national protest on Wednesday to demanding their recruitment, those who have workerd during the period from 2008 to 2018, in batches similar to their other fellow substitute teacbers.
