On Wednesday, February 26, a blast occured in a factory specializing in export-oriented toy manufacturing in the city of Manzel Bouzalfa.
As a result of this explosion, 5 female workers were injured and were transferred to the Injury and Serious Burns Center in the capital, and 15 more were transferred to the hospitals of the cities of Manzil Bouzalfa and Suleiman.
Security sources told local media that the preliminary examination of the accident showed that the explosion was caused by a hot adhesive material leaking due to a technical defect in one of the machines.
This defect resulted in the spray of the mentioned adhesive material to affect five female workers who were near the machine.
