Jordan Social Security Institution: Insurance SMS Service Providing Information for the Different Beneficiaries

The Jordanian Labor Observatory reported that the Social Security Institution launched an SMS service to send notifications to different beneficiaries in order to inform them that they were covered by social security upon joining work or when their coverage was stopped, in addition to a special notification at the beginning of each year that includes the fee subject to the social security of the insured individual.

The Instituion called on all workers in the Kingdom to register on their website (www.ssc.gov.jo) in order to benefit from the electronic services available in it that will enable the insured worker to view all his/her data on social security, and also enables the institution to communicate with the worker through cell phone specifically SMS.

The Institution also stressed the need to enter the correct data when registering so that all the required data are included with high accuracy when registering from a phone number and an email of an account holder which bears legal consequences in case the number or email entered is not correct.

They also stressed the need to communicate with them in case of any difference in the data sent to them via phone call on the number (065008080) or to pay a visit to the closest branch of social security agency of the insured individual.
