The Moroccan Labor Union called on all of its activists in various local and regional federations, professional assemblies and national unions, to comprehensively mobilize to participate in the national and grassroots march that will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020, nine in the morning in Rabat, rejecting the "Deal of the Century".
In a statement, the Union affirmed that it is in a pioneering position in leading the national and liberation struggle against the various forms of colonialism and domination, and a fundamental component of the Arab liberation movements against imperialism and Zionism.
Defending the rights of peoples to independence, liberation, democracy and social justice, and most importantly the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to liberate Palestine and to establish of a fully sovereign independent state.
The union declared that the rights of the Palestinian people are not for sale or bargaining, and are not subject to negligence, expressing its categorical rejection of the Trump-Netanyahu plan called the “Deal of the Century”, which aims to liquidate the Palestinian issue, and to make Jerusalem the capital of the usurping Zionist entity.
The union considered the “deal”an attempt to eliminate all national rights, the historicity of the Palestinian people and especially their right to establish an independent and fully sovereign state granting the right of refugees and displaced persons to return to their homeland.
The union also expressed its solidarity with the workers and people of Palestine and announced its support to the unanimous agreement of the Palestinian people against the ill-fated deal.
The press release also mentioned the union’s participation alongside the various vital forces in Morocco in joint mobilization and struggle plans to drop this malicious imperial / Zionist plot, end the Israeli occupation and build an independent Palestinian national state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Moroccan Labor Union called on all people of the Arab region to actively express their rejection to this plan / conspiracy.
It also highlighted the need to work to urge Arab rulers to support the Palestinian sovereign decision, which opposes the Trump / Netanyahu plan, and not to normalize relations with the brutal Zionist entity under any justification or name.
