According to statistics released by “Migrants' Rights” website, the minimum wage for domestic workers in Kuwait amounted to $147 per month, with the absence of the necessary mechanisms to ensure that workers would receive their wages regularly.
Sri Lankan domestic workers receive only 20% of the minimum wage set for the Saudi private sector, which is approximately $80- $100 per month.
