Ministry of Labor and Social Development announced its intention to establish an Individual Labor Disputes Settlement Authority in line with the ministry’s keenness to find rapid mechanisms to resolve individual labour disputes that guarantees the rights of labour and employers in Bahrain.
“The authority aims to undertake an amicable settlement of any individual dispute between the worker and the employer with the consent of both parties and before having recourse to the law courts”, Jameel Humaidan, the Minister of Labor and Social Development, said. He also stressed that the Authority will have the force of execution by issuing a statement to be signed by both parties to the dispute.
