Workers and officials from the municipality of Sakiet Ezzit, Sfax governorate, observed a three-day strike. In this context, the newspaper ‘Achaab’ said that the strikers called for the cancellation of the providers' services and the purchase of cleaning tools.
In addition, the protesters demanded the opening of an external competition for the recruitment of 18 agents, for the years 2019 and 2020, and an internal competition dedicated to the promotion of those concerned. The strikers also called for a bonus and the application of the minutes relating to the old agreements signed between the administrative part and the trade union part.
The newspaper ‘Achaab’ revealed that the protesters threatened to escalate their movements to make the administrative side listen to reason.
