According to one of the water taxation collection workers, he was assaulted by more than 10 people during the official working hours, due to not giving them access to the water meter for the past two weeks.
He added that he did not withhold water from them, but another colleague working in the area, during the evening period was the one responsible.
He indicated that he had performed surgery on his face as a result of a fracture of a bone under his cheek and he urgently needed to substitute it with a piece of metal instead.
The worker also noted that he suffered from internal bleeding in the nose area due to the attack he was subjected to.
He called on the water company to proceed with strict actions against his aggressors in order to help him as well as stop similar attacks.
