Ezzeddine Zakari, a member of the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT) bloc in the House of Councilors, returned to the case of contract nurses with the National Social Security Fund who are deprived of social protection.
The counselor reviewed the different situations of more than 700 nurses who reported living in appalling professional conditions with meager wages and deprived of social security. Ezzeddine Zakari accused the administration of the Fund and the relevant ministry of practicing "social escape".
The counselor added that due to their working conditions, some of these nurses have hepatitis, tuberculosis and brain tumors. The UMT bloc member was surprised to see the Social Security Fund concerned about the regulation of the situation of more than 6 million pensioners while 700 of its nurses are marginalized and expelled.
