Last Sunday, the employees of the University of Science and Technology organized a protest rally outside the seat of the Presidency of the University where they asked for an improvement in their living conditions and the abolition of the premiums collected by university officials.
In this context, the Jordanian Labor Observatory reported that the protesters called for the revision of health insurance, 30 days of leave per year and the application of annual leave.
In addition, the employees demanded the construction of a pilot school and a crèche and the revision of the mechanism of the contractual years.
