Garbage collectors (solid and liquid waste) are expected to start a labor strike at the headquarters of the National Sanitation Office (ONAS) and the National Waste Management Agency (ANGED). The strike will last three days, starting on January 21, and will span 22 governorates.
In this context, the newspaper 'Achaab' revealed that the garbage collectors are demanding the application of the agreement of April 21, 2011 concerning the cancellation of subcontracting in the public sector and respect for the content of the minutes of the meeting of July 12, 2019 concerning the creation of municipal environmental agencies.
