An agreement signed by the Sudanese Ministry of Energy and Mining with the Oil Workers Committee ended the crisis of oil company workers with whom a security company had contracted.
Local media sources reported that Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Mining Hamid Suleiman confirmed that the agreement stipulated the disengagement with the Petronides company of the General Intelligence Agency, in addition to improving the living, wages and conditions of service and considering absorbing technical and administrative cadres of the operating companies.
The agent affirmed that the signature was made with three companies, namely (Three PPL), the Sudanese Petroleum Pipelines Company and (Center Wid) company for the purpose of operating and managing employment for companies operating in the petroleum field.
