In this context, the General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions in Gaza explained that the Israeli encirclement has led to the deterioration of the industrial and productive sectors and that the maritime sector employs only 40% of the fishermen who are estimated at 3700 people. And to add that the agriculture sector remains the sector most affected by this encirclement because of export bans.
The General Federation of Palestinian Trade Unions in Gaza has said that 80% of construction sites have suspended work while the food industry has seen more than 500 of its factories destroyed by the occupying forces during the war. the last war.
