Jordan: The most important measures to promote the role of working women in union work

On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, a seminar was held under the auspices of the Committee of Trade Union Women in cooperation with the Association of Professional Syndicates and the Jordanian National Committee for Women to discuss the reality and aspirations of trade union women in Jordan to increase the active representation of women in decision-making positions.

In this meeting, they discussed the marginalization of the role of women trade unionists in the trade union work, and the measures and measures to be taken to activate their role and reach them in decision-making positions, in light of the reluctance of many professional women to work, including the lack of appropriate conditions for women to work.

The women's quota law was endorsed as a supportive and positive force for the integration of women into unions in the absence of justice.
